This policy covers Rock and Clay Renovations Ltd, which trades as Rock & Clay Renovations. It explains what happens to any details you send us through this website. It was last updated on 3 November 2026.
Who we are
We are a renovation firm based in mid Kent. Rock and Clay Renovations Ltd is registered in England and Wales (company number 17211886, registered office 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA) and, for data protection purposes, is the data controller for the information described here. What we collect
Through the quote form we collect only what you type into it, which is your name, phone number, email address, the postcode of the property, the type of project and what you tell us about it. We ask for all of it because we cannot quote for work without knowing where it is and how to reach you. If you accept cookies we also learn how the site is used, which is covered under Cookies and analytics below.
We do not ask for payment details or any of the special category data the UK GDPR treats separately, such as health information. Please do not send those through the form.
What we do with it
We use it to answer your enquiry, arrange to visit and send you a quote. That is the only thing we use it for. We do not sell it or pass it to anyone for marketing, and we will not add you to a mailing list.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests. You have asked us to quote for work, and replying to you is the expected use of the details you sent.
Who else sees it
The form is delivered by Web3Forms to Seonat Ltd, the company that runs this website for us. Seonat passes your enquiry on to us by email or WhatsApp and does not use it for anything else. The website is hosted by Vercel, whose servers keep short-lived technical logs of requests, such as IP addresses, so the site can be run and kept secure. Nobody else receives your enquiry.
Web3Forms, Vercel, Google and WhatsApp may handle information on servers outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, they rely on the safeguards UK data protection law requires for that transfer.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to see how the site is used and whether our Google adverts work. Its cookies are only set if you accept them in the banner, and you can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. Our lawful basis for it is your consent. Google never receives anything you type into the quote form. The cookie policy lists each cookie.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within twelve months. Where we carry out work, we keep the job record for six years, the period we may need it for tax, insurance and any question about the work.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, or object to us holding it. Email rock_clay@yahoo.com and we will respond within one month. There is no charge.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top.
